At 5:08am Pacific time, we saw another incident of excessive memory and usage on our web application servers, which caused Kickserv to be unresponsive for some users for up to 6 minutes.

We have procedures in place to prevent such an incident, but due to a combination of the weekend's upgrades and recent generally improved performance, we didn't notice the memory condition until service was already interrupted.

We want you to know that we find this unacceptable, and we're sorry if your business was unexpectedly interrupted. We're doing all we can to find the root cause of these performance issues. We are also watching server memory very carefully around the clock to ensure that we can prevent further outages before they occur.
